Dr. Vladimir V. Shuster, D.M.D.
Founder & Lead Endodontist
Dr. Shuster is a San Francisco native who always wanted to practice in the community where he grew up. After earning his dental degree (D.M.D.) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completing his specialty training in endodontics at UCLA, he returned home and founded Endodontic Arts of San Francisco in 2011.
Under his leadership, the practice has grown to two San Francisco locations and a team of three endodontists—all while maintaining the personal, patient-centered approach that defined the practice from day one.
Dr. Shuster is deeply involved in organized dentistry and the San Francisco dental community. He currently serves as President of the San Francisco Dental Society and holds positions on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (where he serves on the Continuing Education Committee), the California Dental Association, and the Spear Study Club. He also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, training the next generation of dental professionals.
Dr. Shuster lives in San Francisco with his wife, Karin, and their sons, Naveen and Isaac.
